OK........ I've got time for a "quickie" but as all is well in my world I think I'll catch you up on P and MoonDoggie Luna.............Her Royal Highness, The Virgin Queen is laying again.I don't mean that in the sense that she is laying around waiting for us to peel grapes and feed them to her (tried that, she doesn't like fruit, the little hussy). Nor in the sense that she is laying like a rug around the house waiting to be vacuumed (although sometimes she herself does, much like a vacuum cleaner, SUCK greatly!). No, I mean that she is playing "chicken" again (NOT in the sense that she is driving a car over the speed limit into the path of another speeding car to see who "blinks" first) and is laying eggs (well, one actually) and then just leaving them/it there so I guess she wants me to what, plant it in the garden to see if it sprouts?!........... Maybe she just wants me to be confused......Mission Accomplished (although NOT in the sense that I would EVER feel the need to call Tom Cruise...the silver haired guy that used to run the team on tv maybe..... but I digress)! In any case, I'm going to take her for a check-up with Dr Maas (who treated my Sweetface Molly). His prices are incredibly reasonable, he is a genuinely nice human being and P's Daddy (and don't kid yourselves, she is absolutely Bear's girl) is worried about her and wants her to have a check-up. It's just as well. I have a few questions about her I'd like to ask anyway.Speaking of Dr visits...... Bear has had an MRI, stress test, and whatever else our Doc ordered up to make sure that my guy is going to live to grow old with me AND HE IS! Looks like it really was just stress-related so we've got him on a diet and he's going to start exercising as well. YEAH!!!!!MoonDoggie is as healthy as a horse and marginally more intelligent than a horse's food! But since he is happy and manageable and doing all the things that healthy, happy chins do I'm not going to question it.......... I'm trying really hard to make peace with the hole that loosing Molly has left in me but I still think about her and miss her every day............ I just don't burst into tears as often is all.Sugarpuss has sprouted like a harvest vegetable garden and it is genuinely astonishing how fast and how big she is growing. She'll be 4 in Sept. and is quite the little lady with a mind and an opinion all her own. But, as we both like to say, she will always be my baby! Speaking of which, she'll be here this afternoon and herMama will be joining she, Bear and I for dinner this evening so there is lots to do and I need to get on it!My love to you all!....... Does anybody out there know where I can get a "good hair day" hat? Having to actually go do my own seems to be slowing me down. Must be time for a cut and color!Hasta la taco-The Mad Hatter

Please try to remember that I have a somewhat skewed sense of the word \"quickie\"!

There\'s no quickie like a long quickie! Fantastic news about your Bear!! Hope that Miss \'P\' gets over her laying issue...probably good to have her thoroughly examined and perhaps a little time with a therapist might be in order?? Seems that ever since the alien pigeons visited she hasn\'t been quite right...I worry that there was some type of influence from the whole debacle...perhaps we\'ve confused the poor bird! Now ye ask for a \"good hair day\" hat...personally I like to go with something antique done in horse hair for those days when I\'m feeling like a nag but still want to look my best. Actually though I have no, zero, zippo, nada talent when it comes to styling my hair so it\'s a good cut and let it go wherever it wants...sometimes it works and other times...well, we don\'t want to discuss that publicly. Love you!

Well, if this is a quickie all I can say is no wonder Bear always comes home....Now that the obvious has been addressed.....Good news about Bear! Stress can be a bear to beat! Good hair day hat...hmmmmm .... a feather from P...if pulled from the right place perhaps the laying issues will end! Well now I should tell you Molly is now sporting corn rows with small pick ribbons at the end. Who would have thought Timmy would turn into such a talented and patient Chin dresser?
The Pediatrician used to tell me to stop and rock the clutter will be there long after the kids are grown. They do grow so fast AND they are so much smarter now. They bargain! Their arguments are wonderfully creative and makes one pause and say hmmmmm! I agree wholeheartedly that there is nothing like the warm fuzzies you get when craddling a child and waking up with them in the morning. Of course the fuzzy wears off when they wet on you during the night or if they throw up that is also interesting. I am willing to bet that Stephen King had a child with night terrors. HMMMM. Now a bad hair day hat would be a bathing cap with huge pink flowers on it...yes and perhaps one of those visors pulled low over your eyes so you don\'t exactly have to see the direct stares.
Briana informs me that she absolutely NEEDS a laptop for school this year...she\'s going into 4th grade. I DO NOT HAVE A LAPTOP! She explained it is for research because the teachers never tell you enough about the stuff she wants to know about and it will give her a chance to bring up the information that she thinks should be shared with the class. Isn\'t she a teacher\'s dream come true. I really must find a nice way to equalize this kid\'s identity.
Alas, I have been out of sorts again. Two of my children have decided to take a week-end at the shore...what week-end you might ask? My birthday week-end that is the week-end they chose. My nose is out of joint! How many 61st birthdays does one get to celebrate. So, Saturday Bri and I shall go to the Franklin Institute and the Art Museum and enjoy ourselves. I WILL NOT EAT CAKE!
HMMMM Did I stray? Sorry, I lost my head for a moment. Well, I am doing leaps toward the bathroom, twirling in mid-hair oops I mean air singing in a piercingly high voice with my crown of yellow pedals flopping devilishly around my gorgeously couffed doo. Goodnight...Sweet Dreams and duck the dropping eggs. Love Ya
