Having Kailey overnight was beautiful. There is almost no degree of broken that cuddling on a sofa with a 3yr old won't fix. We were both fluey, but it seems we are also both on the mend. I'm so lucky Andi has been so willing to let me help and share with Kailey. She truly is a miracle child.
So it's night. I don't know where Bear is because I haven't heard from him......... so I guess he'll either be home tonight or he won't.
There's a chin running around on the floor in the dark and I'm going to see "Monster House" ON-DEMAND tonight. Because, really...... isn't Saturday night all about cartoon haunted house stories and finding some peace in one's life............ if only for an evening.

This entry in your journal was so nice to read because there was just a relaxed easy going air about it.It was so nice to see that you were having a day when things just flowed by lazily like the waters of a brook lapping over the rocks near the shoreline while two little kids sit and try to catch a fish.Enjoying simple pleasures,it sometimes brings the greatest joys in life. Little Kailey clearly does that for you.You entire note conjured up wonderful images complets with the chin playing on the floor nearby. Good for you for being able to take advantage of the moment. That is what we have to do. Take advantage of those precious moments and not let our life get in the way of them.Yes,it is all about finding some peace in one\'s life enev for one night. I agree that we are all better off taking it one day at a time..or one night at a time, as the case may be. There is no reason for us not to have that attitude ALL the time, but that is of course easier said than done. I\'m glad that the chin and the child are helping you to have a relaxed attitude. I often say...kids and animals are the creatures that I can most stand anymore!!
