So yesterday I had to do one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. Mom finally made the call to the vet for our kitty Chloe. I insisted on going to the appointment too as we were pretty sure she wouldn't be making a return trip. Mom didn't want to go but we talked her into going and she is glad we did. The appointment was at 6:15 pm on August 28th. Soon after being seen Chloe left this Earth for a better place. I held on to her and gave her lots of love and pats and some kisses. I held onto her while she took her final breaths and continued to hold her until her body stopped having spasms (a natural part of the process I'm told). I watched my mom break down when I gave Chloe a kiss after she passed. The process was probably the hardest thing I've ever been a part of. It's the first time I have witnessed the process. I'm glad I was there but am heartbroken as my family mourns the loss of a loved one. She was 16 years old.

I\'m so very sorry. It hurts so badly when you lose a special pet.
