My cousin was discharged from hospital a few days ago so she is now home recovering.  It will likely be awhile before the headache and nausea goes away.
 
Ebby has issues going on with her eye. I noticed yellow discharge yesterday and then it started swelling and she's squinting now.  She's got a vet appointment this afternoon.  I am not taking chances with the eyes...so in she is going...hopefully it's nothing too serious and will just be an easy treatment.  My poor baby girl.  She looks so pitiful and it is breaking my heart.  I know it probably sounds pathetic but she is my baby...and this is her first real issue so I'm sorta freaking out.  I did a nice hot salt water compress last night on the advice of some of my cat rescue friends.  She actually seemed to enjoy it.  I'll do more if the vet says it is okay but I need some peace of mind first to make sure there's nothing really bad going on.
 
Anyway, I guess I should go.  I'm going to finish my coffee and then I need to grab a shower and figure out what to wear.  It's so hot and muggy here and taking Ebby to the vet means I'm going to be wearing a black fur coat by the time the appointment is over.  I guess I should make sure I don't wear white clothes, huh.  lol.  ;)
