Since I wrote last I had another bad day (Tuesday) but Wednesday and Thursday (today) were actually good. I think, hope, pray that I'm on the upswing. I did hear back from my psychiatrist though and we bumped up the appointment...so it's a week earlier then originally scheduled but still not for another week.
Yesterday was crazy busy. I finally had my appointment with my family doctor and got my med refills that I needed. She also wanted to recheck some things and was actually quite happy with everything overall. I'm so confused by her and that clinic. Half the time I can't stand it and half the time I think they're great. I guess in this day and age were it is so hard to find family doctors in the first place I need to be thankful that I at least semi happy with them. After that appointment I had errands to do and was with mom so it meant for a long day. Went into the first store and ran into a lady I know through cat rescue and had a lovely chat with her and was able to introduce her to mom (and vice versa). Afterwards continued on with the errands and shopping. It was almost 10pm before I got home...so needless to say I was exhausted.
Today I slept in more then I meant to but wasn't overly surprised after yesterday. I didn't get a lot done but I got more done then I have been doing lately so I'm happy. Had another friend, who owns her own business of making soups and fudge drop off some yummy me-friendly soup...roasted red pepper and black bean soup. It was so good and still hot from the pot. And by me-friendly that's quite a tall order - gluten free, dairy free, soy free, tomato free, onion free. Her soups are all gluten free anyway but to avoid all of those things and still have a tasty soup is a challenge....do-able though. :) She is open to customizing her dill pickle soup for me so I can try it too....it sounds super intriguing. I love trying things that are a little unusual so I can't wait to try that. Maybe I should start a food blog about all the weird and wonderful foods I try while on a multi-food restrictive diet. I could even do restaurant reviews. Hmmm...ponders. It could be fun. It would definitely be interesting. My biggest issue is that I would hate to give negative reviews and have a hard time giving criticism, even when it's constructive. Could be a growing experience I guess.
Well, I should carry on with my semi productiveness and get at least one load of dishes done. I'd like to maybe attempt some sort of light workout...I don't care if it's a failed attempt at one push-up but I'd at least like to be able to say I tried. And then a bath and/or shower would be next on the list....and then bed. Theoretically speaking I should be going to bed now (10:30pm)...but I didn't wake up until around 2pm so that's highly unlikely....in fact it's not going to happen because I'm not yet ready to even try.

Sounds like you had fun the last 2 days. Definitely a move in the right direction.
Maybe a natural light or opening the shades early would help your vit D levels and help decrease depression. Also always chew vitamin D. I don\'t know why but it makes a big difference. Just my thoughts as I sit here sun bathing in our sub zero record smashing cold in mid Michigan. Still going to my arthritis swim class at noon though ...isn\'t the 21 century wonderful?
