So I had my appointment and he confirmed that it is very likely Lupus. I start Plaquenil tomorrow and was also given info about another drug to consider called Rituximab.  There's some potentially great benefits (though not guaranteed) but also some pretty major (though rare) risks.  If I decide to go with it then we'll have to go through an approval process for funding as it's crazy expensive.  It's also something that I would have to go to the hospital to get through IV infusion.  So a lot to think about.  Mom came in with me which is good but she wants me to go for the treatment and I'm just not sure yet, though I do feel a peace about it.

As for the guy I meet, we're planning to meet up again an evening this week.  The too good to be true feeling is not so much in a bad way but in a "someone please pinch me because I think I'm dreaming" kind of feeling.

I'm sort of on info overload today.  I'm also tired and hungry (despite eating a lot).  So going to leave it at the basics for now.  Overall I do feel pretty good about the appointment and the treatment I've decided to go with. Just hoping for minimal to no side effects....especially with Christmas just around the corner.
