Well, I guess that not painful BM was a one time deal for now. We're back to feeling like a fire poker with thorns is trying to pass. Not too happy with that but am sadly used to it. Hopefully in time with doing the right things it will eventually get back to the non-painful ones on a regular basis.
So, I had acupuncture the other day which I enjoy but my naturopathic doctor disagrees with some of the treatment that the specialist that did the Meridian Stress Test recommended which really upsets me. I just want everyone and everything on the same page and get so frustrated when they're not. I just want to do whatever I can to get to my best health possible and it's hard when you're hearing different things from different specialists. I ended up getting really upset and I couldn't stop crying which made me more upset...to the point I was crying because I was crying...which is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know why I can't have more control over those emotions. I tried positive self talk, deep breathing, and everything I could think of that was positive but it still took me over 30 minutes to calm down. Anyway, I try to take the info I get from each specialist and do what makes the most sense to me to the best of my ability when it comes to the conflicting opinions.
I saw my regular doctor on Friday and my ANC is up a bit to 700...which is still low but way better then the 350 it was at 2 weeks prior. I forgot to find out when to retest so will have to call during the week to find out. I've got referrals in to see a new rheumatologist that my parents know so looking forward to getting a second opinion on things. Maybe they'll have some recommendations. I don't know. I am hoping to get my ANA and dsDNA retested to see if they are still positive. Probably are but hoping that they aren't. Would make life a bit easier.
Anyway, overall things are good. I'm a little over emotional and my body is not cooperating today like I was hoping it would so am missing out on some things I was planning to do but I'm trying to get some other stuff done instead. Getting close to time of the month so I think that's playing into things. I also had a really bad splurge day with Halloween and eating things I shouldn't so that could be playing into the moods too. It's really interesting to me how foods can affect so many different areas of our physical and mental health...even up to a week after eating them. I'm trying to keep everything in perspective and just be kind and gentle to myself today.
Well, I should go...have an entire mountain full of dishes to do. Why can't they do themselves for once? LOL. Seems like my life revolves around health and dishes.
