Such tragic events unfolding today/tonight from Boston makes ya really think how well off you really are...and thankful...because in this day and age that could sadly happen anywhere. An event that was suppose to be fun and challenging has turned deadly and tragic. Many of the details are still unknown...what is known at this point is 3 are dead (including an 8 year old child) and the last count of injured that I read was 124. Countless others near and far are traumatized. So sad... so sad.
This world really is becoming a crazy place to be...and surely it's a sign of the times to come. I both dread and look forward to it...and the only reason I can look forward to it is because I know where I'm going in the end...and how much better that will be. This world is full of too much heartbreak and tragedy, too much anger and violence, too much hate and sadness...I'm so ready to past all that.
In other news...there really isn't much going on. I'm just procrastinating as usual...need to get a bath or shower and get to bed...have a psych appt tomorrow afternoon. I'm debating asking for a decrease in meds....just as a trial. I'll talk to her about it anyway. I'm unsure what to do as today has been filled with anxiety...first day in many.
Grateful:
1. Grateful that God is here in the midst of all the chaos
2. Grateful that I'm a Christian and have the beliefs I do...it gives me hope.
3. Grateful for veggies...lol...I've been craving them today so I just had a snack of steamed veggies with garlic and spices...I should've steamed them another minute or two but otherwise they tasted pretty good...just still a wee bit cold in the center.
