Well, not out of the woods yet but so far today feels better...except for my period started and I had to take a dose of naproxen before I could go out.  Energy is a little low but that's normal for me on my period.
 
I was out with mom and we checked out some of the really neat little stores locally that I haven't been to in forever...if ever.  Some are new.  It was a lot of fun to browse.  We went to a little home gifts store, and to a used book store with a small little cafe area, and then to a natural health store...were I broke down and bought a very yummy samosa with spinach and feta in it (plus the usual potato and spices....sooooo good).  We went down the road to see what some of the new buildings were and went in to a really cool baby, children, mom's store...lots of really cool products and great quality...so much fun to look at everything.  Then mom had to run into some of the big "box" stores.... Canadian Tire we went to first, then got Dad to meet us at Smitty's for supper.  Ran into Lawton's after to pick up a few things and then I went with Dad back home.  Mom still had grocery shopping to do but I just didn't have it left in me. 
 
I went into Lawton's to pick up some Skinfix (yet another barrier cream) but ended up finding Boudreau's Butt Paste and it was pretty cheap and have heard good things.  It is zinc oxide but decided to give it a try.  So far so good.  I won't say yet that it's working and that I won't react but so far so good.  *fingers crossed*  I'll have a better idea after a few applications.  Penaten took a day or two to really react...the Burts Bee's Diaper ointment was just minutes.  So for now I'm happy and feeling a bit relieved.  I can already tell you though from reading ingredients it's the one I'd recommend hands down to anyone of those I tried...and it was the cheapest by about $5! 
 
Time change tonight.  And I'm tired so thinking of going to bed early.  It's been an overall good day all things considered.  :)
