Well, I'm up super early today so trying to catch up on some things.  I've got over 600 emails to go through but one of them was an update from this site so I thought I'd better pop on over and write a little bit.
Finally for the most am over the insanely bad cold that I had.  I ended up going to the doctor and had to have my Flovent inhaler increased.  Yuck.  That in combination with pretty much 2 weeks of rest and fluids, cough syrup, cough drops, and the ventolin when nothing else worked...and still I can still feel it ever so slightly.
Am slowly getting the apartment decorated for Christmas.  I wasn't sure about a tree this year but my sister (after getting her husbands approval) is letting me borrow his late mothers 4ft fiber optic tree.  It's a little tacky but it kinda suits it here.  I was so afraid Ebby would try to destroy it but she's been really pretty good.  I don't think I'll put many (if any) ornaments on it...it's got all kinds of "candle lights" as well as the fiber optic wires and is kind of pretty just that way.  Plus I think if there were anything dangling from the tree Ebby would definitely be all over it.  She's mostly only sniffed at it and I did catch her this morning attempting to chew some of the branches.
I'm waiting for the food bank truck to come to see what goodies I get today.  Oddly, last week I went through the majority of the food super quick...usually it goes bad before I get that chance.
After that I think I'll be having a nap because I can barely keep my eyes open to type this...and the coffee is not helping.  I fell asleep all squished up on the couch last night and woke up to Ebony kneading my belly.  She's such an independent kitty but our wake up time (no matter what time of day) is always full of purrs and snuggles.  That's the best way to wake up....except sometimes I just lay there and soak it all in and fall asleep again.  I did that the other day and when I opened my eyes it was almost 4pm!
So yeah...today I was awake before 8am so I guess we can say my sleep is all over the place.  I've also been on quite a rollercoaster.  This time of year is always stressful for me.  This is first year in forever that I really can't afford to get gifts though I am I guess sorta getting some anyway.  I'm trying to get what I can through cat rescue auctions...so I get a deal and the kitties get help.  I can't help myself.  I do need to get out and find something for each of my nephews though.  What to get a 17 year old and 21 year old boys that already have everything and are earning more money then I am?  Plus I still owe one of them a bday gift.  *sigh*
Well, I'm gonna get going now, finish some more coffee, catch up on some more emails, and figure out if I'm going to have a nap or do something with my day.  Even though I haven't really been out of my apartment much lately I feel like I'm still being somewhat productive.  I just need to move it up a bit and be even more productive.

Do they have lottery tickets in your province? That\'s my ideafor those nephews. Everyone enjoys the fun of scratching off a few lottery tickets. I add them to stockings and they are always a hit!
