Hey, long time, no see!
Things have changed quite a bit since my last entry. I got kicked out of where I was living and had to spend a few weeks in shelters before being approved for an apartment. Yay! My first apartment with no roommates! It was a bachelor, it was cozy, but I loved it. However, through the same organization I had a chance to move to a "1-bedroom" so I took it. What a stressful ordeal...but it's over and I'm settled in and I love it. I love having my own apartment even if right now I'm not the best at household chores and all that.
It's been a hard bumpy road and have been in hospital at least twice and multiple ER visits due to mental health but I think that's settling now. It's been quite a year.
Back in September I contacted an organization about possibly fostering a kitty. A few days later (Sept 21) they called me back saying they had a cat that needed a foster and would I be interested...haha....of course I said yes! She arrived that evening straight from the vet. Anyway, I've adopted my sweet little girl who I couldn't bear to let her go. Her name is Ebony Rose...for short she goes by Ebby! She's all black, possibly a Bombay, and she is a total live wire but a total sweetheart and I totally adore her. She is a wonderful source of entertainment and helps me so much because I know she needs to be cared for and I'm responsible for that. I only uploaded one pic of her today someday I'll try to load some more.
Overall things are going well. I'm on decreased amounts of medication...for both sleep and depression/moodiness...and been doing pretty decent even with some very stressful things happening. I actually was completely off the prozac but decided due to the fact Christmas is coming up I will stick to a low dose (currently on 20mg, might consider 40mg) until the new year. I'm hoping to try something different in the new year. I'm so tired of being so tired and I hate that my body "needs" clonazepam and I don't want to be on any of these meds. I tried wellbutrin like 12 years ago or so and I want to try that again. It's supposedly can help with the extreme daytime tiredness and I think if I had energy to get things accomplished I wouldn't need the sleep meds so much. I dunno yet...just something to talk to my psychiatrist about.
Anyway...I should go...Ebby needs her supper (canned food). And I'm sick and feel like crap physically so I'm needing to rest. Hope you are all well.
