Things are going well. Things are settling. I'm still struggling (and probably always will) with my relationship with God. I want it so bad but right now I feel like I'm being false and I know I'm still being cautious. I know I don't need to be that way...I just don't know how to break through that right now. The service I went to on Saturday was good...I really felt like I was suppose to be there and I feel I'm definitely suppose to go back. It's been confirmed to me over and over again just about every day.
I have a few visions I want to share at some point but not right now.
I've been really feeling that there's two things I'm suppose to be really working on in regards to my faith and my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
One is to destroy the lies I've been listening to for far too long and start feeding myself with truths. I sensed that was something I needed to start working on when I saw a book at the local Christian Bookstore and really felt a need to read it. This was a few weeks ago and I couldn't afford it so I went to the library and looked on their computer...it said it was out, not on shelf at any of the local libraries....but before I left I went down one isle and looked at a few various books and then I saw it right there in front of me...at my feet...the book from the bookstore. It's called "I'm Not Good Enough"...and Other Lies Women Tell Themselves by Sharon Jaynes. I just started reading it last night but can already tell it's one I'm going to want to buy because I feel a need to make notes in it and highlight things. I'm copying a lot of stuff into my notebook...lol. And that's just from the intro.
The second thing is something I came across when I was flipping through my Bible last night. I hadn't opened it in months but there's a study section at the beginning and I forget what it's called but one of the pages is on different steps that help build and/or strengthen our Faith. I only looked at the first one last night. I think one a night to learn is enough...plus to be honest I can't quite remember what it was. So I may need to study this a few times....I remember it had to do with seedtime and harvest and seasons....and the verse was in Genesis but that's about all. I think I need to do a little more studying. LOL.
It's been cooler here the last couple days and rainy today. Of course I had an appointment and then this evening I had a workshop on Herbal Remedies and Relaxation Techniques. At the moment I'm actually feeling rather tired and relaxed and seeing as it's after midnight I'm going to get ready for bed. I was wound up when I first got back because I ended up walking home in the cold rain...I got home quicker then if I had waited for a bus...and since I don't like waiting for a bus at night in that particular area and it was dark and cold and rainy I decided to speedwalk home. :)
Well...that's about all I'm going to write for now.
