Odd

I'm thinking it's interesting and odd...that I seem to develop allergies or other issues that get in the way of all my treatments. I have asthma...am questionably allergic to many meds used to treat that, I get an infection and I seemed to have an allergic reaction to the antibiotic (or possibly that time it was a result of the infection/illness), I used to struggle with overdoses, often on Tylenol...I developed a life threatening reaction to the med to conteract the effects of that...I have struggled with Self Injury...I develop an allergic reaction to adhesives....this plantar wart I have...part of the treatment involves ADHESIVES!  Ack...guess I'm not skipping meds for sleep tonight afterall...thank goodness for Benedryl...I'm about ready to rip off the toe with the wart...lol.  Okay...enough complaining...I just thought it was odd that so many of the treatments I end up needing for whatever reason result in allergic reactions of various degrees. On another note...I'm watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics with a heavy heart.  It's so sad the tragedy that happened earlier today with the young man, just 21, who died while training on the luge.  I saw the video of the accident...and pictures of the rescue efforts...it makes me feel so sick and sad.
