I think my sleep wonkiness has hit a new wonky level...and I think that's why my moods are so affected tonight. I fell asleep last night at a half normal time but was awake again before 3am....WIDE AWAKE.  My body apparently thought it was a nap and that it was good to go.  Anyway, I was awake for awhile so I made use of my time.  I did half of today's schedule Bible readings and had a protein shake and laid down and listened to relaxing music.  I eventually fell asleep again...around 6am...which meant I didn't wake up for the day until 2:30pm!!!  Ugghhh.  I had even set my alarm for noon to get up but just kept hitting snooze.   I decided I need to try something a little different to kind of jump start the sleep.  If I can sleep at a semi-normal hour...and STAY asleep until a semi-normal hour I think it'll be a little easier to work on this whole sleep thing.  But it's pretty darn hard to work on getting to bed earlier when you keep sleeping in later and later.  So, since I had gotten permission from my psychiatrist back in December to take as many as 3mg of ativan in a 24 hour period...even if I take them all at once, then I can.  I have been consistently taking 2mg every night and because of the holidays and the little depression I went through I haven't started going without it yet...I want to get a few semi-good sleeps into me first.  So tonight I took 3mg.  I will retire early and with any luck sleep through the night and wake up sometime closer to noon if not before.  We'll see.  I refuse to be on this schedule for much longer so something has got to give. Anyway, that's the biggest issue...it's always the biggest issue...sleep.  Blah! So by the time I was up for the day, had my breakfast, and coffee, and did the rest of my Bible study it was 3:30/4pm.  Kinda late.  A friend of mine dropped in for a bit and mom came and dropped off my Christmas gifts and after they were both gone I started taking down the Christmas decorations.  There's still more to put away but I made good progress so my day doesn't feel like a waste.  So in comparing what I've gotten done, to the last few years, I'm ahead of schedule.  :) I watched another service on lifechurch.tv.  It was part of a series that I had started months ago about Elijah.  For some reason I watched the first 3 services and never went back to watch the final one...until tonight.  It was good.  I highly recommend their site and have enjoyed all the services I've watched so far.  Usually you get a few laughs too.  Here's a link to their archives... http://www.lifechurch.tv/message-archive/search   Anyway, I'm actually getting sleepy...more then an hour ahead of what I was expecting.  I can usually function normally on 2mg and never feel sleepy for hours so I figured 3mg probably wouldn't hit me too hard but it's already starting to hit after less then an hour.  Praying that's a good sign and not a sign this is going to be another nap.
