3 days into 2010 and so far so good. Overall I'm pretty happy with how things are going. I'm having trouble getting back on a semi-normal sleeping schedule and a little frustrated because of it today but it'll work out. I don't think my biggest problem is the getting to bed or falling asleep part...so much as it is the waking up and getting out of bed at a decent time part. I seem to be waking up between 1-2pm and I want to get that down to more like 11am-12noon on average within a week or two...and then go from there. I wanted to get up and go to church today but was just way too tired when the alarm went, I'd only had a few hours of sleep so I shut off the alarm and rolled over and fell asleep. I may check out an online service in the next little bit here. On the last day of 2009 I found a good resource for doing bible readings and setting out a schedule that works for me. It's called Bible Explorer. It's a free program you can download and has loads of options and extra's that you can add to it. I've currently got myself set to read the entire bible in a year but if I find it to be too much then I can change it. I told my roommate about it too and she thinks it's great and is planning to do it in 6 months doing a mix of Old Testament and New Testament each day. I'm just working on going straight through, starting at the beginning. So the program seems pretty good and flexible and I'm able to take notes right on the same screen and keep track of if I've done my daily reading. If I'm not understanding something there's options to pull up another screen that has sort of a commentary and simplified version and it really helps answer some of my questions that come up. I'm pretty happy and excited about this. Anyway, my supper is ready...nothing exciting I just stuck a Lean Cuisine Panini in the microwave and it's beeping at me saying it's done. So, that said, I'm gonna go rescue the panini from the microwave and introduce it to my tummy. :P
