The little boy I mentioned in yesterday's entry passed away early this morning in hospital. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. I'm really sad about this. When they found him alive still in the woods, even in his severe critical condition, I couldn't help but think that he made it that far, the LORD would bring him through it. But I guess that's a reminder that you never know what is going to happen. I know at least this boy isn't suffering anymore. He's in heaven where he won't have any of the challenges he had while on Earth. He was autistic and non-verbal and who knows what other challenges he faced but I know this world can be tough. So I have mixed feelings. I am thankful and sad and angry all at the same time. How could this happen so close to Christmas. Why does this family have to go through this at all. Why couldn't he have just lived, he made it that long. Anyway, doesn't matter how many questions I have, facts are facts. Little James is no longer living on Earth. And to think this is someone I've never even met. I never knew. But still it pulls at each and every one of my heartstrings. ~~~ I have an appointment this afternoon with Rheumatology. Am curious to see what her recommendations for the next while will be. Their office moved to a new location so I get to go on a little bit of an adventure today to an area of the city I haven't been to in a long time. Bonus, there is a Salvation Army store nearby it that I'm totally going to have to check out. :)
