I decided to call my psychiatrist today  to talk about increasing the meds at least temporarily.  She agreed that would be okay as long as I was okay with it.  So tomorrow I will start 50mg of Prozac instead of 40mg.  I still have some of the 10mg strength capsules from when I started on Prozac so just enough to get me by until I see her next week and we can evaluate things then.  I think this is the right decision for where I am right now.  The low moods are hanging on and affecting my daily life and interfering in so many area's so while it's not ideal (I'd much rather not even need medication) I think that it's better to try the increase for a bit especially in light of the time of year and things.  I'm looking at it as being proactive.  So anyway, hopefully that will help boost me up a bit without too many side effects. Other then that just feeling really down and heavy.  Even getting the milk from the fridge was difficult today and I know that's not normal.  I didn't sleep last night at all, I guess the half-caf coffee that I had at supper time had too much caffeine.  I didn't get any sleep until after 8am today until about 1pm.  I got up and had breakfast at 6am and hung out with my roommate for a bit before laying down again and attempting sleep. Anyway, I don't really feel like being on the computer right now so I'm going to go.  I'm reading a book called Life is Tough but God is Faithful by Sheila Walsh.  It is helping me be thankful...or at the very least...not so upset...about the difficult times...like now.

Being proactive is the right thing to do. Also staying close to God. You can never go wrong there.
