Doing alright. Most days doing good but having the occassional off day. One day actually really caught me off guard and I found myself having the urge to cut but fought it off. Tonight I'm a bit disappointed but not to the point of harming myself. I have been planning for a few months to go to this event in my city called Nocturne...Art at Night. So all the galleries and studios were open late and there was all kinds of extra entertainment around the city and the best part is it was free. Well, I didn't really want to go on my own since some of it is in the rougher area's of the city and the event ran until midnight....so I got a friend to go. That part was fine...but she invited along a couple other friends...which wouldn't have been a problem except they complained about everything. Didn't want to walk from place to place, constantly wanted to smoke (cigarettes and hash), and eat. That left very little time for actually enjoying the event. We got to maybe 5 places out of about 40. Mind you, I enjoyed the places we did get to...but I was hoping for so much more...and I was so disappointed that I felt sick. Ah well...at least I got to a little of it. One of the girls I can understand her not wanting to go further...she wasn't wearing good shoes and had huge blisters on her feet...so that I understand and it's valid...although I told them wear walking shoes because chances are we'd be walking. Anyway...I'm just a little frustrated, I felt like I should have just gone on my own and taken my chances. *shrugs* Ah well, I guess that's life. At least I didn't cave into peer pressure like I would've a couple years ago. I didn't have a smoke or any hash. Finally I'm comfortable enough standing my ground on that. I don't need to conform to other peoples standards. Though I did enjoy a couple of drinks...lol.

No harm with a little drink here and there. Had one myself last week and a nice city restaurant. If ever you were in the city for one day, maybe we could hang ...
I totally agree with your frustration. Been there done that. I feel like pulling teeth sometimes w/ some people doing different things, and at times it feels what they do is more interesting to them than what I have planned to do...which I find more interesting...which doesn\'t often happen...
Anyway, it terms of hurting yourself, i\'m glad you didn\'t go all the way..I must say, however, I\'m starting to go that route myself...:(...Nothing major but enough to leave red marks...I find I did it today when I felt I misunderstood a friend\'s tone of voice on the phone with me...It\'s times like these that I know that I\'m leaning towards a new depressed phase....hopefully its just PMS...
BOY aren\'t some people the limit? You would think if they came they would be interested in Art not in complaining and fussing and such. I have had people let me down at events before like at a football game. Now why would you come out in cold weather and not wear a hat and gloves and not bring an umbrella or a poncho when it\'s raining? But my sister did! Then she complained the whole time and really took away from my enjoyment of the event.
glad to hear things are going ok. Bummer about that night though. You have the right mind about it though at least you did get to go. I\"m praying for you. much love and hugs... take care...
