The big day is tomorrow! My friends wedding...then we'll hopefully be able to relax a little. Although my friend and her husband will be temporarily living with her parents until the end of the month when they can move into their new house so there may still be some stressors for them. But the wedding stuff will be done. Things are going well overall. There's been some hiccups but mostly it's just stuff out of anyone's control so you just kind of have to ride with it. Unfortunately some of the people that my friend wanted to be there can't for various reasons. Also some last minute alterations of the vows...I think now the groom only has all of 4 words to say so he's feeling a lot better. I guess he's the type who feels sick just at the idea of public speaking....extreme fear...and I can relate. I used to take a zero in school instead of doing any oral presentations....I'd rather fail then get up there and talk. Thankfully I'm not quite as fearful of that as I used to be. Last night we had a bridal slumber party. We watched Grease and The Producers, drank virgin margharita's, and did our nails and toenails. They turned out really cute. Update on my eyebrow... I finally was able to get in to see the piercer here and got it looked after. She cleaned it up super well and switched the barbell back to the original one I had it pierced with to give it some breathing room. It was soooo swollen and as red as the burgendy dresses for the wedding....it's still a little bit red but not swollen much any more and the redness is only noticeable up close. I probably had a reaction to something in the other barbell. It was 14k gold plated but whatever was under that gold my eyebrow was not happy with. Thankfully it's looking much better now and is back on it's way to healing....and I won't have a big puffy red eye for the wedding pictures. Anyway, I better go. Tomorrow morning is going to come early. We've got to get up early, go to the facility that is hosting the wedding and reception and set up, then come back to the house and relax for a bit before going to get our hair done. Makeup either before or after (we're doing our own), and then back to the facility to finish any last minute setting up, get dressed, and try to chill until the actual ceremony. Then I think after that is pictures, then the first dance, then the buffet supper, and then the father-daughter dance....and then dancing and partying and whatever.
