Feeling quite a bit better today, praise God! I think I needed a little bit of time to grieve and then a good sleep and have spent some time in His word and listening to sermons online and really feeling thankfull. Dispite the storm they were calling for today it ended up being not really that bad and so I went for a nice walk. I have just been trying to figure out what direction the Lord wants me to go in. I still need to find a church. The one I used to go to was good for a season but I don't feel it's the right one anymore. I have another one or two in mind that I'd like to try over the next few weeks. I found out one of them is temporarily having their services in the evening because they're sharing a building with another church so that may end up being the one for me to go to for now. At least I know I'd be up and ready. It's also not too far from here, a long walk or a short bus ride depending on the day. I really feel like there are big changes coming and I'm excited but trying to trust and be faithful. I don't know if the change is just to a new church, or to a new career (well any career), or to go to school, or something completely different that I can't even imagine right now. For the last few days I've been feeling compelled to read the book of 2 Peter. It took me 2-3 days to get through it because I had to keep rereading and to be honest a lot of it still doesn't make sense. I ended up having to look up a "dumbed-down" version online...one that is meant for those just learning English and it helped, but I still don't understand why I was suppose to read it. I'm sure it will eventually be revealed. Any one care to share what the book of 2 Peter means to them? Or maybe you'd like to read it and share what your interpretation is...hey, just a thought. Anyway, I'm not sure where I'm going but I know He'll lead me where He wants me to be and I've got to just trust Him that each step will be the right one. I've got to believe and have faith. It's pretty scary going somewhere that you haven't been and don't have a map (or gps) for. What if I get lost, what if I take a wrong step somewhere, what if, what if, what if.... I've got to not think about those what if's and just TRUST, BELIEVE, and have FAITH. That's pretty scary for me but I know with God's help I can do it.
