The curtains keep out some of the heat...but not the humidity.  Wowzers.  I feel like I'm melting...and if humans melted I'm sure it would've happened multiple times in this apartment.  A lot of people are saying how hot and humid it is outside...I go outside and it feels like such a relief from being inside...lol.   The person never called me back about the camera.  *shrugs*  Oh well...whatever.   I went for a walk around supper time...about 4:40pm or so I left.  Walked up to the piercing place but they closed a bit early then usual today so I decided to turn it into a walk and just meander.  It was a beautiful walk.  I wish I had a camera with me, and I wish I had left a little earlier in the afternoon but that's okay.  There's some cutesy little shops that I want to check out.  Most were closed or closing so I didn't bother...though I did stop in one shop.  An Oriental Market/Grocery store type place with all kinds of Asian goodies!  I got a kind of Pocky that I haven't tried before (orange flavored) and I got some cute little cookie things filled with chocolate and got a lychee drink in a can.  I could've so easily bought so much more, I love looking at everything and want to try almost all the treats.  Not so much into the seafood and squid paste and those things at this point...it fasinates me but grosses me out at the same time so I won't try it yet.  The lady working at the shop was so sweet and friendly and had out samples of things to try and she'd answer any questions you have.  I will definitely go back there....but I'll have to be careful because I could easily spend my money there.  Imported food is not cheap.  lol.  But I love it, love trying new treats...especially sweet treats...especially when I have no idea what it is.  I can't read the packages...lol.  But a lot of them have pretty self explanatory pictures.  Can you tell I'm all excited about it?  Hehe.   Came home and my roommate had a delicious supper made, salad with grilled chicken.  Yummy.   Anyhow, I'm exhausted although just had a snack because I was a little hungry and didn't want to wake up starving and now perked up a bit.  A well.  I'm hoping I'll get a good night sleep so I can get up in time to have a shower and go to church.  Not sure if I will go to my parents church and surprise them or go to one of the other ones I want to go to.  I'd kind of like to surprise them.
