What a great day!  Didn't get done most of what I wanted to but nonetheless had a great day!  Had yet another night with very little sleep..to sleep around 2am-ish and awake at 6:30am.  Decided might as well get up and have breakfast and work on my swap...did that and fell asleep again on the couch for an hour or two.  That's when the sun starts beating in our place and making it painfully hot (think of a greenhouse or tropical rainforest)....plus it had actually been cold this morning so I fell asleep with a sweater on and a blanket over my head, literally over my head...partially because I was cold...but mostly to block out the light.  Still don't have living room curtains.  Crazy I know.  They just cost more then either of us can afford plus we'd need a curtain rod that extends to 120" and those are pricy too.  *shrugs*  Anyway, the nap helped definitely.  I got up and started to get on with my day.  Made a phone call to my cell company to change some things around starting April 15.  Hopefully it will help things a bit.  Then found out my friend and her little boy were coming over...so that completely kept me from getting almost everything else done.  But had a great time.  He'll be 2 in June so he's at such a cute age.  He was dressed as Winnie the Pooh today.  I'm not sure why...but he is just too darn cute.  My friend brought a TreatzaPizza...ice cream pizza with cookie crumb base and all kinds of toppings.  Yummy!  And we watched Happy Feet because it helped keep Landen entertained a little bit.  He was more interested in the stereo and phone and keyboard though...lol.  Then we went to pick out some wine for my birthday party potluck tomorrow and then after that she treated me to supper at Applebees.  Was tasty!  Then I had to get back...needed to do a little cleaning before my roommate got home.  Managed to get the dishes washed but not dried and put away...and I didn't manage to clean the rest of the bathroom.  Will get at least the toilet cleaned out tomorrow though and if there is time will get the tub and shower done too.  But that I am not going to worry about.  I still need to bake chocolate chip cookies and get my license renewed and buy a bday present for my other friends little girl as I'm invited to her bday party on Saturday.  She'll be 3.  Busy busy busy.  Still haven't even had a chance to get to the hospital to see my Aunt and she's been there since Monday.  Ack!  Where is the time going?!  Well, I better go try to wind down for bed.  Can't wait for tomorrow.  I'm excited!  I used to dread bdays...now I like them.  It's been a long time since I've done anything with friends on my bday...usually just family.  This time I wanted something a little different then usual.  And it seems to be coming together.
