Feeling better today although moments of sadness or just feeling overwhelmed.  Mostly pretty good though.  Didn't sleep well last night but still got up today and went out and had a semi-productive day.  I had invited a friend and her daughter to a free movie at one of the local Christian stores around here and I knew her daughter would like it.  It was a Veggie Tales video...Abe and the Amazing Promise I think is what it was called.  Anyway, it went alright though she did act up a bit...but I think that's just how she's going to be now when she's with her mom.  She's also not quite 3...so she's very much wanting to be independent.  Her mom left her and her daddy to live life on her own and persue other interests...err...uhm....guys....it's really sad.  Anyhow, I try to get them together once in awhile if I can since my friend keeps saying how much she misses her daughter but won't see her without a friend or family member with her.  Sometimes I think the child behaves better then the mother...but that's another rant, one that I probably won't go into.  Anyway, we took her to the movie and then back to the mall to meet her daddy.  Then my friend and I went to the library and for pizza and to the candy shop and then I left and got on the bus since she met up with one of her other friends and were heading to some places I'd rather not go.  I was tired anyway and ready to head home.  I think the bus ride home was one of the most crowded I've been on in a long time...glad I got on at one of the first stops and off and one of the last...I don't think anymore people could've fit on it for quite a bit of the ride.  That's really all that happened today...just thinking I should head to bed and fall asleep to the sounds of the animals running around upstairs and the traffic outside.  I think I need a few nights away from here soon.

What a great idea and what a nice thing to do. I hope your friend enjoyed the movie and understood the love of God. Aren\'t veggie tales fun? I get the cd\'s and videos for my grandkids, but I like them as well.
