I think I'm the only person who can watch people donating blood and be nearly in tears because I can't be one of those people.  I want to donate blood, have wanted to since before I was old enough to...but I don't meet requirements because of my low white blood cell count...and probably my self harm tendancies as well.  They had a clinic set up at the mall today.  I had to run some errands at the mall.   On the plus side I got my errands done.  I dropped off the paperwork that needed to be taken to the Service Canada office (so handy being able to drop it off instead of mailing it...especially considering it's in the same building as the post office) and mailed off the paper work that had to be mailed off.  And as a bonus, spent less on postage then I thought I was going to have to.  How did that happen.  I was guessing I'd be spending $5...and it was closer to $2.50.  No complaints...lol.  Mom and Dad came over for a bit.  Dad hung up some pictures and a shelf for me.  Been waiting a long time for that.  I was needing that done at my place and it never happened...in fact I think some of it I have had since even before that.  And then some of it is newer and just got it for Christmas but it's all up on the walls now.   Yay! I fell asleep shortly after they left and woke up around 10pm.  Opps.  I was just exhausted for some reason.  Probably because I didn't have some good energy sustaining foods today.  I need to do better with that tomorrow.  Though tomorrow is shaping up to be a messy storm day.  Guess we'll see.    I'm reminising (how is that spelled?) at the moment.  I found the book and cassette from my childhood called Wee Sing Bible Songs and am looking on YouTube for some of the songs.  Cassette player is in the living room, I'm in my room.  Anyway finding all the songs by a group of kids called the Cedarmont Kids.  Cute.  Definitely older video's but cute nonetheless if not kind of tacky at times...lol. http://youtube.com/watch?v=c6l62eB-jHg  Listening to these songs and singing along I can't help think of Jesus saying how we are to become like children.   1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.  ~~ Matthew 18:1-5
