Two weeks self injury free! It doesn't seem like much but considering a few weeks ago the thought of even making it through one day seemed impossible. I guess my suicide attempt kind of changed things in my relating to self harm too...I just don't have the desire to hurt myself...no urges. I've had thoughts of it when I've been struggling with extreme anxiety but never as an urge, just as a thought. *shrugs* It is what it is. I can't explain how the urges stopped, I just know they have, and I'm not complaining about that. Today is potentially a busy day. I'm at my parents but need to start rushing to get ready to go home. I am planning on lugging back a lot of things that I've been planning to take for months and haven't gotten around to doing yet. VCR and a bunch of VHS movies...a mirror...some books...and then everything else that got lugged out here for this visit...laundry...my computer...me...*sigh*....so much stuff and that means many trips up and down flights of stairs when I get home. Ah well...it's good for me. I also have to make sure I have a shower when I get home, my parents shower isn't working so I've only been able to wash my hair...I despise baths. Then I have an online appointment at 5pm, need to eat supper, and go to depression group for 6:45pm. Hopefully I will have a ride home tonight as I have to try to wind down early and get up tomorrow for an appointment at 9:30am. Yuck. That means being awake early enough to eat breakfast, take my meds, and get to the bus stop no later then 9am so that I can make it to that appointment and wait in the waiting room for what will likely be an hour (usually around that). Blah...couldn't they just schedule it an hour later...that would make life so much easier. Anyhow...it is what it is. I will manage somehow. Not sure I will check in again later today or not. As always I've managed to fall behind again. I will try to catch up on all the journals and hugs and all tomorrow when I get home from the appointment...unless I end up going to Walmart for some Christmas shopping. Probably will just go home though...liquid nitrogen treatment on toes and walking around in a store for hours usually don't mix well. Gotta run.
