Well I did go shopping and it went okay...there was a bit there were I thought it was going to be a bad idea and got really anxious but managed and didn't get bad enough to need to take an ativan so that is good.  I didn't really see anything at all for anyone although I did try on some clothes and found a few things I liked.  However...I didn't buy any of it because my mom and sister wanted to pick out some of the stuff to give me for Christmas...but didn't want me to know what...so I had to leave the store empty handed...which kind of sucked because there were three things I really wanted and I wanted to get whatever they don't get me.  Maybe I'll get lucky and get all 3 things but I doubt it.  Was a shirt, a pair of cords, and a sweater.  I just wish I could go get whatever they didn't because I liked it all and don't get new clothes very often.  I think sometime this week I will have to try to go to Walmart and look around there....that's usually the best place for finding stuff for most of the people on my list as much as I'd rather not shop there. My arms are hurting more then they have the last couple days.  Left side keeps feeling like an elastic band snapping...that's the most painful of the two...right side is just swollen and hard and sometimes hurts a bit.  I keep hearing to put warm compresses on them so I have been...especially the swollen one but maybe that is aggravating it.  I dunno.  Maybe it's one of those things that needs to hurt more before it feels better.  *shrugs*  Actually I think it's possible the left side is more nerve pain then vein pain.  The right side is definitely the vein.  I am just holding out hope they heal soon...you know...continue to feel better...not worse like today. The reason I am thinking nerve pain for the left is I was reading something and it said "If a nerve has been damaged, the patient will feel an immediate, distinct pain that he may describe as an electrical shock going down the arm or a pins-and-needles sensation going down into his fingertips" and that is basically what I felt when they tried to do the IV on that side.   Anyway...I'm tired...my eyes are itching and burning from my cat allergies...so I just took some benedryl and hoping I sleep well.
