I'm doing okay tonight.  I really felt today like I needed to get out even though I felt like crawling into bed and hiding all day.  Instead I called mom to see if we could do something.  I wasn't sure that was going to be a good idea or not.  I love my mom but the last couple months we just have not been getting along.  She aggitates me and annoys me to no end.  After humming and hawing for a couple hours I decided that I would hang out with her for the day.  She came and picked me up and we went to one of the smaller malls.  As soon as she got to my place I was sure I made a mistake and I was so aggitated I ended up taking an ativan but that helped me be able to go out and have an okay time.  We went to a store called Winners, it's got a little bit of everything.  I had a gift card for there.  (I think the store may be comparable to Marshalls in the US but I'm not sure).  I ended up finding a pair of winter boots, which I needed and with the gift card I was able to get them for $25 so not bad.  I also got a Christmas gift for one of my friends kids and a new oven mit because our other one is too thin.  There was so much fun stuff to look at and I had a good time even though I didn't think I would.  I went to the dollar store after and picked up a few little things...glittery snowflake window clings which are awesome and some baby oil to get that nasty adhesive stuff off me.  Even ended up going to my sisters for supper which I was a little worried about because of allergies.  So before going there I talked to one of the pharmacists at a pharmacy there about my best options for dealing with allergies around animals (they trigger my asthma and I'm no longer able to use ventolin because of med interactions) and she was very helpful.  So much nicer then the pharmacists I deal with at my pharmacy.  She said my best option for immediate relief of allergies is benedryl so I sucked it up and bought the smallest package of that there.  Of course when I got to my sisters I found out they had some there so I ended up using theirs instead but that's a whole other story.  Hehe.  Bottom line....as soon as my allergies started I took the benedryl...it worked and kept me from having any major allergy symptoms especially the ones I was most worried about...ya know...being able to breath...kind of important.  LOL.  Anyway...I had a pretty good time and I'm glad I ended up going out.  There were some annoyances but I got through it.  Feels so much better.   Now I need to go get ready for bed.
