So I didn't write everything yesterday but shortly after I woke up God directed me to Ephesians again. I was asking where in Ephesians and He said you'll know. And sure enough He brought me back to the armour which I had totally forgotten about. Well I hadn't forgotten about the armour but I forgot that it in Ephesians. So basically I knew that meant I was suppose to make sure I had my armour on that day....in other words...it was going to be a battle. So on my armour went...I literally read the passage and touched each area of my body that my armour had to go and spoke it aloud. Well all day I felt so battered...and like my armour didn't fit right. I said to someone...I feel like a kid playing dress up with my parents clothes...everything feels too big....and I feel so small to be fighting these battles. I don't want to be at war anymore...not physically, spiritually, or mentally. Anyway...I mentioned about the armour being too big to someone who I trust...and you know what she said to me. She said...you are right on track...just like David in the story of David and Goliath. His armour was way too big for him and yet he still defeated the giant. I had totally forgotten about that. I need to remember to have faith because nothing and noone is too strong for the Lord. As long as I have the armour on and am willing to go out in the battlefield with trust and faith in my God then that battle will be won. How cool is that. Doesn't mean it's easy, and it doesn't mean I won't get tired out and worn down. It's understandable that anyone who is at battle, any type of battle, will feel those things....but just need to hang in there. For those who don't know about the spiritual armour...it's in Ephesians 6:10-20. Basically:belt = truthbreastplate = righteousnessfootware = peaceshield = faithhelmet = salvationsword = word of God (Bible)
