It's 1:25am and really I should be sleeping but I decided I'd stay up a bit longer to write in here.  Things are still going really well.  I am slowly, let me repeat s-l-o-w-l-y unpacking my things but I am getting a tiny bit done each day.  It will get there.  Things are starting to slow down closer to my regular pace and it feels good to be resting up again.  I got so tired being so busy the last week.  Yesterday was my Mom's birthday so of course I had to go out with my parents.  We went for dinner at this really nice fancy-ish restaurant called Dofsky's (I think that's how it's spelled). The food was amazing.  I just ended up getting a side salad (which was just basically a salad, nothing overly impressive but good and fresh...it's hard to make a salad stand out)...and I got a starter order of veggie spring rolls and made a meal out of those.  OMGoodness those were to die for.  The was 6 big spring rolls and they came with this fabulous spicy sauce (i forget what it was but it was awesome)...and a little spicy cabbage salad on the side.  Dad had his usual, fish and chips and mom had her usual of pan fried haddock.  She also got a free slice of mixed berry cheesecake since it was her birthday.  Anyway, we all enjoyed it quite a bit and will definitely go back.  The prices weren't terrible either considering the class of restaurant and everything it was quite resonable and they were super friendly.  It was a grand time fit for a queen on her birthdaqy, my mommy!  :)   Today I was planning on getting up for church but I woke up too late...I don't care for the summer hours our church has...at least not with this cities Sunday bus schedule.  If it was regular service time I could've made it with a bit of rushing.  But that darn bus comes only once every hour.  :(  But it ended up being a nice day anyway.  I listened to some praise and worship on youtube and then unpacked one box and rearranged a couple boxes.  I'm filling up one with stuff I don't want anymore to post on kijiji tomorrow and hopefully sell.  Anything that isn't gone I will take to a yard sale next weekend if the weather is decent.  Tomorrow since most things are closed (Natal Day holiday) I am going to try to do some more cleaning/unpacking/organizing and maybe treat myself to either an iced cappuccino from Timmies or to a Kool-Aid slushie at the convenience store across the street...I don't even like those that much but I can see the darn sign from the windows here and now it's all I can think of.  Grrr.  I will definitely need to be selling lots of stuff if I'm going to be living across the street from a convenience store and a Tim's.  Hehe.  Actually I have been pretty good.  I have only been to each place once...went to Tim's the day I moved in (mom treated me and the rest of the movers to iced caps) and then the other day went to the convenience store with my roommate but didn't buy anything.  So not doing so bad.  Hehe.   Tuesday I need to go down the road to the health food store, they are having their monthly sale and I want to try something...I forget what it's called but it's an immune booster and is good for people with Lupus, Sorjens, MS, HIV, allergies, and all kinds of things.  The only people that I'm told should definitely not take it is people who have had transplats because it helps the immue system so much that it counteracts the anti-rejection meds and will cause you to reject your transplant organ.  Catch 22 I guess.  Anyway, I want to give this stuff a try for 2 months (1 bottle) and see if it makes any difference.   After I go there I have to go to my friends house and hang out with her and her daughter and see their kittens before they give them away.  I told them they weren't aloud to get rid of them until I saw them. Anyway, I am babbling...and I really need to get some sleep.  It's now 1:45am.  Yikes!
