Hmm...I thought I wrote in here yesterday. I guess not. Must've just been thinking I did. So mom and I went to the bridal shower. There wasn't many people there but it went alright. It was just nice to say hi to an old childhood best friend. It's sad the reason we stopped talking and being friends....and it was mostly on my part that it happend. As a child, even in elementary school, I started feeling she was hanging with the popular and cool kids and I didn't think I was good enough to be a part of that...so I started distancing myself. Sad, isn't it. What's even more sad is that I didn't realize that until just within the last few weeks....and the fact I still do that with my friendships and relationships today. I think it's time to start shifting that "I'm not good enough" attitude. I'm equally as good as the next person out there....regardless of how my human brain perceives things. So the fact I went to the shower is a huge accomplishment for me in itself. A few months ago I wouldn't have even gone....well...actually I probably wouldn't have gone this time had my mom not been invited too. But still....baby steps. After the shower I convince mom to do some geocaching. That was fun. Found all except for one of the ones we were looking for and the owners of the missing one let me log it as a find since it was truly missing. I got to walk along a beach I never was on before and enjoy a little more the beauty of this Earth we're on. What a wonderful creation it is. God sure is a wonderful Artist and Creator. I walked it alone for the most part, mom opted to stay in the car due to improper footwear (rocky beach). I took my camera so I will try to post some photos soon. It was just wonderful...my favorite find of the day. Ended up back at my parents for the night despite knowing that in order to get home today I would have to be up at 6am and ready to leave shortly after 7am. Yikes. That is so not nice...but I did it. No problems. Mom and I took my Aunt for her second last radiation treatment. It is also my Aunts birthday so it was really nice to see her. We went to the Public Gardens afterwards and walked around enjoying the true beauty and magnificence of flowers, birds, and trees, in the early morning. I also managed to run across the street and do the banking I needed to do. It worked out perfect. That doll I bought back at the end of February or early March...I ended up selling her. The girl picked her up today. I decided a week ago I didn't really need the doll as much as I liked her and that I could put the money to good use. It was worth it. The girl that bought her emailed me everyday and was just such a delight....she's 10 years old. She's quite the little business lady, that one. But I laughed so much...if I hadn't needed the money I would've given her the doll. The rest of the day I've basically glued to the couch....too tired to move. Had a couple little cat naps...nothing major...and treated myself to pizza. Yay! I decided to try the Mexicana Pizza and it is good...but it is spicy. I forgot bell peppers can have a bit of a bite to them. I like it though. Tonight is a no sleeping pill night and since I've had some cat naps and chocolate I may be up for a bit yet. But I am going to end this journal entry...otherwise it may go on for quite awhile. I really feel I could ramble tonight.
