Hehe...Timmies = coffee from Tim Hortons (a popular coffee chain in Canada).  Roll up the Rim is a seasonal game where you can roll the rim of the cup up and have a chance to win prizes...anything from free coffee/donuts to $1000 to cars, etc.  It's usually what gets me addicted to coffee every year but this year I'm being good and doing decaf or half-decaf.  I don't know why I keep going for coffee though...I have no luck winning anything, not even the free coffee or donut.  LOL.   Ah well. Had a good conversation with my sister last night.  She told me the doctor doesn't think my brother-in-law has been having the mini-strokes after all.  They think it's the combination of having been on the heart/lung bypass machine, the lack of sleep, and the medications...so hopefully that is the case.  It's all suppose to get better in time.  In fact my sister said she thinks he's been better this weekend.  A couple times she thought he might've been a little confused but not anything like during the week.  Oh and I talked to her today and she said they had no problems getting his bloodwork done today.  That makes things so much easier.  I guess taking the weekend off to just rest and work on getting rehydrated and of course all the prayers have all helped. I saw my chiropractor today.  That went well...I go back in 2 weeks.  Dad took me to that appointment so went for our "Timmies" afterwards.  Of course neither of us won anything.  LOL....but it was nice to go for a coffee with my Dad.  Our relationship has changed so much int he last few years.  When I was a teenager I was so angry and mean to him, I wouldn't go anywhere with him.  Tomorrow I see my counselor.  I'm thinking since I'm tired I may just stay at my parents tonight and go home tomorrow.  I think if I went home I might fall asleep and get woken up when the exterminators get there so I'll just stay here.  It's easier.

I was going to tell you, that the longer they are on bypass the longer their depression and confusion lasts, sometimes up tp 6 months, that was the case with my hhusband. There was agood article in an old Guidepost\'s magazine by Robby Benson about the depression and problems from being on bypass. It was really good, I gave it to John to read, and he understood what was happening to himself much better.
