I'm at my parents now....just waiting for supper...but anxious about it too. My appetite has been really low lately (which I'm not complaining about), so I've been forcing myself to eat. I'm trying to get in the habit of small small amounts, but eatting whenever I feel hungry instead of eating a big humongous meal all at one time. Well...this will be the first time since doing this that I've had to sit in front of a big meal.
Good news....I found my meds! Just at the last minute before leaving my place in the city...I looked one more place (didn't see them) but decided to go by sense of touch and sure enough they were there. They were hard to see because I keep them in a dark colored bag...but all's good now. My chiro appointment went well too. Barely had to wait. She said my back is looking good but she did do some extra treatments on my neck and differnet spots on the back of the head. I told her that I had a few days with bad headaches (didn't tell her why) but also that the headaches were gone yesterday and today. I think from looking at the scans that she though I might have a headache today so I'm guessing some stuff was a little messed up. *shrugs*
My aunt got her date for starting her chemo. It's this Thursday. My brother-in-law has his pre-op tomorrow and then his surgery on Wednesday. They've chosen the mechanical valve because were he's had heart surgery before and is in his 40's they think it will give him a longer life. They said the pig valve only lasts 10-15 years and they wouldn't want to have to do another surgery because of scar tissue or something like that....so this is it. At least that is my understanding.
As for my meds...I'll start the Celexa again when/if things start to drop again. I'm just trying to enjoy the improved energy and things right now and I'm afraid if I take it I'll lose my energy. It's so nice for a change to feel like doing things. I think I will take a loxapine tonight though...to help me sleep. I had such a hard time sleeping last night....it was 6am and I still was full of energy and didn't want to even close my eyes. I had to force myself...i thought about just staying awake all day but I knew that wouldn't be good for me. I ended up cutting...but I wasn't in a bad mood. I'm not sure what that was about...just felt like it. Don't really feel bad about it either. *shrugs* Whatever.
I am pretty sure I'm going to do the eyebrow piercing...it just might not be until next week. I have to go downtown for it so I'll wait until I'm going down to the insurance company. Also want to go into some of the shops and things so I'll make it a day. Can't wait. I just hope it doesn't hurt as much as the upper ear did. I had that and a tattoo done the same day and I would do the tattoo again before the upper ear piercing. But I think that was because of the cartilage so I don't think it will be so bad with the eyebrow. Plus its not as likely to get hit and snagged with a brush and all that wonderful stuff. No other piercings for me. I like nose piercings and lip piercings but I think it would be irritating. My nose itches and tickles enough as it is...lol....and I'm always biting my lips so I can't see a piercing there going over real well. I want to get another tattoo someday too...but that will be awhile yet.
Well, I think I'm going to go see if mom needs a hand with supper. Doing good!

Maybe you are just a natural night owl and instead of fighting it, you should get a job at someplace that works midnights. I knew a nurse like that she worked midnights even into her 70\'s. She tried days , it just never worked for her.
Nan
I am a night owl and used to work nights. For some reason it messes with my moods. I can handle the occassional night or a short while of backwards sleep but in the end I usually do crash. I would still work nights if I could though (at least some) but my psych won\'t let me. She\'s told the hospital I\'m not aloud on nights. Go figure.
