Good news! She had her little girl sometime around 2:30pm. I will wait until tomorrow to see her...give the new mommy a chance to rest after all that hard work. The little one's name is Hannah...and she weighed about 6 lbs 12oz (about the same I did). Bad news...I can't remember if I said this already...my brother-in-law got his surgery date set. It's this Wednesday Feb 6 and the doctors have decided to use a mechanical heart valve...hopefully all will go well. It seems like so sudden after all the waiting. That sounds weird I know. Well, I think I should pry myself outta bed now...headache and all. I don't wanna sit up...but the sleep thing just wasn't working.

Congratulations on new little Hannah!
The valve thing doesn\'t seem strange at all, my husband got one and they have to put them in when the old valve is \"ripe\" so to speak. Not to early and not to late. So you just wait till the time is peak, and then it\'s a GO. Just wondering why a mechanical valve and not a biological valve?
