Feeling really stunned right now. Just found out that one of my close friends lost their apartment and belongings in a fire. It started in her roommates room from an unattended candle. The rest of the building is okay, it's just their unit that is damaged. Heavy smoke and water damage. I'm not sure what to say, just really shocked. Everyone is okay, it's all material stuff that was lost so I guess that's the good news. No one was hurt. I'm just feeling really helpless and stunned and waiting to hear from my friend if there is anything I can help with.
