Is the yellow too hard to read? I've been on this kick lately were I want to match the font color with the face color. But let me know if it's too hard on the eyes and I will go back to random colors or just black. Even though I've been feeling like I've been completely lazy today I did get stuff accomplished. After being woken up for about the 3rd time by the dogs downstairs barking and people running up and down the stairs outside my window and a whole lot of hammering on the roof above us I finally got up and got on with my day. Took the garbage and compost out for my roommate as she is on crutches at the moment for a foot infection. Afterwards went to the postoffice to mail my first swap packages and some postcards. 2 packages and 3 postcards and I managed to keep the mailing cost under $10 so I think I did well. Dropped off some old meds that I no longer need at the pharmacy for proper disposal...and then looked around the store. They had these beautiful tins of chocolates that are normally over $10 on for $2.75 so I had to pick up one. My mom is dissappointed I didn't pick up one for her and ones for my sisters. So I think I will have to go back tomorrow and see if they have any more. At the checkout though was kind of funny. The cashier rang in the tin, then voided it, and went to check the price of the item herself. She came back with another tin in her hand and appologized because she honestly thought that had to be an error being so cheap. The extra tin was for herself. Came home and it wasn't long before I just couldn't keep myself awake any longer. Feel asleep for way too long. I really should've set my alarm but didn't think I would sleep that long....like 3-4 hours. Got up and had supper and been on the computer most of the night...although I did pick up a few things in my room. And I did find my forms for the housing co-op which I finished filling out. I found out I need to include a self-addressed stamped envelope so I will get it all ready tomorrow and send either tomorrow or in the next few days. I want to photocopy the forms first so I have a copy for my records. I really hope that I get approved for a good place before the end of the year. I know, that gives me lots of time but these places have waiting lists so it won't surprise me if it's next year before anything comes up. At this time I'm applying to 6 different co-ops so hopefully that will help my chances. Of course getting approved would be just the first step...I would still need to apply for a subsidy in order to have any chance of actually being able to be in one of these places. All except one are further away from my appointment locations as well so I would be spending a lot more on transportation if I get in. Well, it's really too early to worry about all this right now. I just need to get my application in and go from there.
