I had a really good day. I woke up so early though (well early for me). I still have my cold and couldn't stop coughing for the first while. Got up and had breakfast and then we opened our gifts. After that was done I ended up going back to bed for quite a while. Woke up at about 3pm and helped mom a bit with the dinner. Played with my nephews (they brought out guitar hero) and also played with my step-nieces new puppy. My sister was puppy sitting so had a great time. My allergies and asthma are acting up though. I've needed my inhaler and allergies meds a few times today and will take more again soon. It is hard to breath. Here is something I wrote somewhere else were we are suppose to write about the gifts we recieved. I had a wonderful Christmas! It was simple but enjoyable. I got many things but the best gift of all was spending time with the family. I got a beautiful chocolate brown hooded sweater and a very cool polka dotted bath travel case from on of my sisters and her family. From my other sister and her family I got a picture ledge, a cool penguin storage box, some slipper socks, and a St. Ives kit filled with a bunch of St. Ives products (facial cleanser, moisturizer, body wash). From one Aunt I got a $25 grocery gift card (much needed) and 2 handmade beaded necklaces and some dangly earrings and from my other Aunt I got a cute little snowman bear that says “Take time to chase the snowflakes”. One of my good friends gave me some handmade snowman coasters and my other friend gave me some homemade fudge. Mmm, yummy! From my parents I got exactly what I asked for and more. I asked and recieved the Shrek Trilogy (all 3 Shrek movies). I also received a really neat picture of a gerbera daisy, the picture changes from grey-scale into color and it is really quite awesome. I also got a very nice chocolate brown Columbia blanket which I love. I'm a blanket and pj kind of girl, lol. I also recieved a bunch of little things including some money, some magazines, pj's, and candy. As I said above though, the most important gift of all was spending it with my family which includes both my parents, both my sisters, their husbands, and my two nephews. Oh yes, and my two cats and the puppy my sister was watching for her step-daughter. Couldn't forget the animals.
