I was just sitting in the living room watching tv and saw movement out on the patio.  I said to myself, that sure looks like a cat.  Sure enough it was.  I went over to the patio door and there were two cats, one was just a kitten and the other I think was a young mommy cat.  I'm sure they were strays because they had no collars and the older one was very scared and hissing just because I was looking at it.  I grabbed some cat food and was going to give them some and try to catch them because there's a vet office just a 2 minute walk away but the older one was too freaked out.  I think the kitten would've stayed if it wasn't for the older one freaking.  Anyhow, they went away but they were so cute.  The kitten reminded me of my cat Chloe when she was a baby.  I really hoped I would be able to rescue them but no luck but it made my day to see them on our patio.  My roommate probably won't be impressed that I threw some cat food out there but I was trying to win the trust of the older cat so they could be helped.  I'll probably put a tiny bit out side when I leave in a bit for my appointment.  I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open.  I took a pic of the kitten but couldn't get the older one in the picture.  I'll upload the pic at some point soon, don't have time right now.  It's not the best because it's through the screen and glass.  So happy to see them.  I needed that little pick me up.  They don't know how much they helped me...I wish I could help them.
