Dad's surgery went well.  The plate and rod and some screws were replaced.  He's in recovery for the night because of his sleep apnea and tomorrow he should be back in a regular room.  We're not really suppose to visit in recovery but they let my Mom, my sister, and me into see him a couple time for short visits.  Mostly we spent all our time in the family waiting area.  My sister and I did an entire puzzle while waiting.  I'll go back tomorrow to hopefully spend more time visiting with dad. I also went to the library earlier today and then up with one of my friends for a bit.  We hung out for a bit and then she walked up to the hospital with me.  She worked at one of the shelters I used to live at and we sort of got along well...then lost touch but reconnected again online.  So we've started hanging out and occasionally going to church together.  It's really neat.Anyway, I'm tired so I'm gonna check a few emails and go to bed.
