Oh my I am exhausted. I'm getting tired of this go go go but I really can't stop until the end of next week. I barely have time to think these days. I am also fighting a bit of a cold.I had my first session with my new therapist today. I forgot to do the homework for her that I was suppose to since I met breifly with her while I was an inpatient...long enough for her to give me a homework assignment. LOL. The session went well aside from the fact I was 10 minutes late. I hate being late but I called and told them I would be.I went shopping afterwards because I have a wedding to go to this weekend and had nothing to wear. The second store I went in I decided to try on a few things and ended up finding exactly what I wanted. It's this really comfortable chocolate brown skirt that I am able to dress up or wear casual. I love stuff like that because I hate just wearing something once. I had a gift card left from Christmas so I only ended up spending a bit over $7 on it. The wedding is at a farm so it's only really a semi formal event...so I was pleased. I am not someone who really enjoys going shopping much because I find it depressing. Usually everything I try on is too small and I end up feeling like a blimp and get so disgusted, depressed, and discouraged. So this was a welcome change from the usual. Came home after for a bit and mom came over. She decided that my room needed cleaning and wouldn't leave without starting on it. I've learned to stop arguing...it's not worth the effort. LOL. So I just let her do her thing but keep an eye on her. It drives me a little batty but I've accepted it. We decided to go out to supper which was fabulous but now that my appetite is back it seems to be making up for lost time. It's exploded really. I am eating gigantic amounts and not feeling full and I am not liking that. I am so afraid of gaining all the weight I lost back but I can't seem to eat enough. What is wrong with me there. I'm going to have to seriously watch it.We also decided to go to the Christian store nearby and that was fun. We ended up spending an 1.5 hours there and could've easily made it another 1.5 hours if we didn't have other things we needed to do. If I could afford to I'd probably buy out half the store, I like so many things there. LOL.I ended up buying a book, a wallet card with the serenity prayer on it, and a poster about the footprints on the sand to put on the back of my door. My theory is that when I'm depressed, I isolate, therefore my door is closed, therefore I will see the poster and remember the message. We'll see if it helps next time I feel alone and depressed. More then likely it will make me mad and I'll pull it off the door...lol...but we'll see. Well I guess that's about it. I'm sleepy.
