Diagnosed with M.G. on Wed. Jan. 28th 2015, looking back I have been struggling with this disorder for quite some time now. When my eye began drooping and I had surgery on it, which failed, they ordered more testing all of which came back negative except the electromyogram test which showed mild M.G..
I have muscle weakness, ptosis of my right eye, difficulty getting up from a sitting position, fatigue, at times I struggle to breathe even when resting, double vision and my voice changes at times. I am not on any medications at this time as I don't see my neurologist until the 24th of Feb. which is a 3 hour drive for me to see him. My local neurologist doesn't believe I have M.G. and will not even consider in the results of my EMG., so needless to say I will no longer be visiting my local neurologist.
I am worried about having this disorder, I guess because it so unpredictable but I will deal with whatever situation M.G. tosses me.
