Update

My gosh, I haven't been here in years!  I have really missed this place and all my friends.  I hope you all are doing well.
There have been many ups and downs.  And then at the beginning of this year I was at my lowest, and my son was slipping back into depression again after doing so well, and I started to pray and pray.  I chased Satan out of our house and our lives and I prayed that whatever has gotten ahold of my son, please take it from him.  That same night I found a video on Youtube about eating well to heal many things like arthritis and fibromyalgia.  In addition to the Trigeminal Neuralgia and the MS, I also have fibromyalgia, so I decided to follow her plan.  It is called a ketogenic diet.  You mostly eat whole, organic foods and add a LOT of coconut oil into your diet.  I have modified my diet to the point where I rarely eat meat, and only from grass fed animals, and my eggs come from a local farmer.  I have all but cut dairy out of my diet also.  I am lucky also to have a step dad who fishes, and I get good wild caught fish.  I cannot believe the difference it has made!  I was eating stuff I am almost embarrassed to admit to.  Things LOADED with sugar, which I have also cut completely out of my diet.
Three weeks into my diet, I was able to stop using my cane and walker. Another two weeks and my parents bought me a little car to drive.  I hadn't driven in EIGHT YEARS!  Since I had let my license lapse, I had to take all the tests again, but here I am now driving all over town again!  What a difference!  I also heard about these yellow lensed glasses that block the blue lights from unnatural sources.  You put them on at sundown, and they allow your body to follow it's natural circadian rhythm.  I started wearing them in early January due to miserable insomnia.  From the day I started wearing them, I have not missed a night of sleep.  Last time I was at my pulmonologist for severe sleep apnea, she said I "slept like a blind person".  I was sleeping at very odd times, and only a little at a time.  I am very excited to see what she says this time!  I have also lost 15 pounds, and I am hoping I can stop wearing the dreaded CPAP.  I saw my neurologist last month, and he was very pleased with my results, and he is going to consider this diet lifestyle for his other MS patients.  He said they already recommend it to their patients with epilepsy with good results.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to message me.  I love to share my story.  :)
