I had what I thought was a seizure this morning, but I looked online and saw that tremors are just another fun symptom of MS.  I have arranged for someone to take me to work and pick me up afterwards because I don't feel stable enough to drive.  Fortunately my son was in his room getting ready for school when it happened.  I made up a story about my friend taking him to school because she called and asked if she could (her son is in his class). I don't know how much longer I can hide the scary stuff from him... ~J

How old is your son? He may have seen more than you know & be wondering & worrying already. It\'s just something to think about when you decide when to tell him. I\'ll be praying that God will give you wisdom regarding the time & the words to say.

I only wonder if tremors can be so bad as to seem like a seizure.. I\'m sorry, but perhaps you should tell your doctor... Good luck, and please, please take care!!

Maybe you can gradually explain your condition & symptoms to your son.Kids seem to handle things better if they feel a part of the situation.I\'m w/olelady-your dr should be made aware of what you\'re experiencing.I am so sorry you are not doing well, and I wish I could be there to drive you & help.Sending you prayers & the biggest HUG I have ((((((((HUGGGG)))))))

just my thoughts ok but i would go with the small truths that he will understand but won\'t worry him to a dangerous degree. my confidence is always with you, a good mom beyond any doubt.

He does know about the MS. Shared Solutions sent us a video for kids whose parent has MS. He watched that, and I really think it helped.

I did call my doctor\'s office right after it happened and left a message. I haven\'t heard back. Thank you all so much for your support and advice. I did have a very stressful event happen on Sunday, and that was when the \"squeezing\" sensation in my brain started. I am pretty sure that is what brought on the attack. I feel a LOT better today. ~J
