I'm feeling much better today. Last night I couldn't fight my way out of a wet paper bag! Had a bit of a traumatic MRI...the tech had a lot of trouble getting a vein to get the dye into. He wanted to use the vein near the knuckle on my index finger! I said absolutely not, as I have to do transcription this weekend. He said (the jerk), "Sometimes we have to have a little bit of pain in order to get a diagnosis." Hey, I know all about pain, buddy! My body feels like it has been trampled by a mob on a regular basis, my jaw feels like it is being ripped off my face when the TN hits, and my legs feel like I stabbed them with serated steak knives (from the injections)! Don't lecture me about pain! How about I grab your hoo haws and squeeze them til they pop, THEN we can discuss pain. lol I am confident, however, that this new work schedule will work out well. Taking every other day off will allow me to rest and have more energy on the days that I have to work. I noticed last Wednesday when I had to get up for work that I felt much better, more rested, and ready to face the day (or at least part of it...lol). Before, I was working Monday at the office, Tuesday on transcription at home, Wednesday at the office, Thursday on transcription, and then would practically crash and burn on Friday and Saturday due to pain and fatigue and have to rally again to get my transcription from Friday evening finished on Sunday. Now I only have to pick up my transcription Thursday night and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to finish it. I was actually looking forward to going to work on Wednesday! That hasn't happened for a very long time.Hugs all around. I hope you all are having a restful weekend. Don't forget to turn your clocks forward for Daylight Savings Time, those who need to anyway.~J

JLynn, I didn\'t know you could be so funny. I liked the visual you painted of the MRI Tech if you got ahold of him. And when you described your anger about all your pain, you do it very graphically. I\'m sure it\'s not funny, in reality, but you could be a comedian. I\'m glad you\'re starting to enjoy work, & that it\'s slowly getting easier for you. It sure makes a difference, doesn\'t it? Thanks for the reminder of the time change. You, dear JL are one person I surely do admire. You\'ve been through so much, & you can still come out of it able to encourage others. Thank you, & God bless you. Much love & hugs,
Debi
Thanks so much, Debi. I love to laugh. There is no sweeter sound than to hear pure laughter, especially when I make my son laugh.
God bless you, too. ~J
Grabbing hoohaws(lol) is a really GOOD way to stop pain during an agonizing episode.I wanted to when they were jabbing needles & hot electrodes near my spine.Boy did I want to!So glad you got your schedule down to a working one. Please rest now & feel better this week.BIG HUGS************
