My breathing has become more labored, and my body more fatigued, that my voice is starting to go.  I am wondering if it might be my heart.  Is this something that is common with MS?  I have already addressed the breathing difficulties with my PCP and neuro and also called Shared Solutions to see if it could be a side effect of the Copaxone, even though I have it documented clear back to 2006 the tightness in my chest, and more recently in November 2007 the intermittent breathing problems, which I had just assumed was due to anxiety, but when they took my BP at the doctor's office last Monday, my systolic was 130...as opposed to the usual 140-150 that it usually is.  In fact, I cannot remember the last time the systolic was below 140.  I have had hypertension since I was 16 and have been on Benicar since 1995.  Also my heart rate was regular, and my oxygen sats were 98%.  What the heck is going on???  I swear I feel like I am slowly slipping into a coma.  I sleep all the time now!  I can barely walk from the bedroom to the kitchen without getting breathless.  I guess the next test they will do on me will be an autopsy and everyone can say, "Oooohhh, she really WAS sick!" Sorry for that.  I am just so damned frustrated.  I have a son to take care of and a job to hold on to!  And I am doing it on my own!  I don't have a spouse to take the reins when I need to take a break (chased him off three years ago but he keeps coming back.....keeps mumbling something about seeing his kid or something....lol).  Just kidding.  He's a really great father and has been really helpful to me.  He does my grocery shopping, takes my garbage to the dump, and even will clean my kitchen for me if I give him the big puppy-dog eyes.  ha ha  Unfortunately he lives 25 miles away and has a girlfriend who doesn't take kindly to him spending too much time at my house.  lol  She's a redhead, too, so I don't DARE cross her!  ha ha So here I sit, TRYING to finish the charts that I picked up Thursday evening and used to be able to finish in four hours.  Worked on them Friday, again Saturday, and am STILL working on them tonight.  Had to take yet another nap today.  Had to ask my son's father to please coax the invisible elephant off of me so that I could get back up and start again.Well, speaking of charts, they aren't going to do themselves.  My son asked if he could learn to do them for me.  rofl  He's 7.  Such a sweetie, though.  When I get really bad, he is always willing to help me in any way he can.  Like last week when I was in bed for a week and a half, he brought me food and meds and made his own breakfast, etc.  Of course, at one point we had to call "Nana" to bring me some soup, and she also brought some Cheetos, Oreos, and ice cream....  She says, "Now how did THOSE get in there???"  Hmmm....I wonder, Nana...  I see who is your favorite.Hugs  ~Jlynn
