Well, I started the Copaxone on Friday. Can I just say....ouch! My friend has given me four shots, but I did have to do one by myself. I am supposed to get the autoject tomorrow. I hope it makes things easier, because I don't think I can give myself another shot manually, and my friend is moving this week to another town. Ugh! One thing, my mom swears my neuro said it would make me feel "3O percent better," but I was under the impression that it only slows the progression by 30 percent. Who is right? I hope all of my friends here are doing well. I have been sleeping a lot during my time off, so I rarely have time on here lately. Hopefully the debillitating fatigue will pass soon. It seems to come in waves. Take care my friends. ~Jlynn

You will not have any problems what so ever with the autoinject. I cringe when I have to give my self a shot without it. That first pluge through the skin is tough, your right...Ouch ouch ouch.
Did you have a bad reaction with the first shot?
Wow! I used autoinject from the start! Can\'t imagine giving it to myself.I started last month, by the way. And I do not know if it is my imagination, but I do feel better. I\'ve read or heard, that some meylin gets a chance to repair. Or maybe it is just imagination, feeling good about attacking the MonSter.. I hope you get \"trained.\" Without the training, I do not know if I could have done it, because I found those directions to be confusing. Now I think it takes me about 2 or 3 minutes.. I am getting to be a pro! ;o)

No reactions other than the \"bee sting\" sensation, but that passed after about 20 minutes. I did get trained by a nurse, but we used her autoinject because I hadn\'t received mine yet. That would be awesome if I saw some improvement in my symptoms, but I agree with olelady about feeing better just knowing I am fighting the MonSter rather than just observing it. Take care. ~Jlynn
Happy for you that you\'re able to sleep & recuperate.that\'s so important.Hope the autoinject is easier & less painful for you.HUGS & God bless.
I\'m so happy for you that you\'re finally able to do something to attack the MonSter. You\'ve waited l o n g e n o u g h!!!! Hope you get your autoinject soon. Needles are bad enough as it is, but when they can make them easier, that\'s great. I\'m thanking God right now for answered prayers. He knew what He was doing all along.
Love you, jlynn,
