Hi all.  I have been taking a hiatus.  The medical issues have been all-consuming, and I needed to step back from them (as best I could under the circumstances) and try to focus on other aspects of my life.  Just a quick update, though.  My neuro has basically thrown up his hands in defeat and is sending me to the Multiple Sclerosis Center for Oregon at OHSU.  OHSU is one of the best hospitals in the northwest.  My appointment is on November 19th.  I am also getting a follow-up MRI of my brain in December to see if the lesions have changed, multiplied, grown, shrunk, etc.  So, instead of obsessing over how long this is taking, I am concentrating on living my life to the best of my ability now.  I started a new hobby (bought a dollhouse and am in the process of furnishing it, though some days I can only look at it because my hands are too unsteady to reach inside).  It is also the holiday season, and I want to make the best of it.  Incidentally, my neuro prescribed Symmetrell (amantadine) for the fatigue and I don't seem to notice a change.  The nurse said it takes about three weeks to help.  I have been on it for about a week and a half.  Is anyone else on it? I hope you all are doing well.  I do miss you all.  My son and I continue to pray for you all every night.  ~Jlynn

I\'m glad to hear that you\'re finally at a place where, even though you don\'t have all the answers, you\'re able to start concentrating on living again. Working on a dollohouse sounds like fun. I\'ve never heard of symmetrell. Hope it ends up working for you. Its great to hear from you. I\'ll continue to pray for you & your son & the doctors.
Love, Debi
