The right side of my head keeps going numb, and when it wears off, my right eye is dry for a long time even though I can blink just fine.  Good thing I transcribe for an ophthalmologist.  He gave me a sample of thick eye drops for it.  My TN is flaring up again.  I have taken more Tegretol this past month than I have since I was diagnosed in 2000.  No joke!  My legs are numb in the front today, too.  It kinda feels like there are large pockets of fluid just under the skin when I walk.  Yesterday the entire right side of my body went numb, and then my leg, arm, and head ached after the numbness wore off.  I got reeeeaaaallllyyy tired afterwards and had to pass on the movie that I was supposed to go to with my son.  My mom came out and got him, though, so he didn't have to miss it.  I did take him to the fair last night with friends, and that was really fun.  My friend has closed spina bifida, so there we were, hobbling around the grounds like a couple of 99 year olds.  rofl  Her son is my son's age and they are good friends, too.  A good time was had by all.  :)  Hope you are all doing well.  We pray for you all every night.  ~Jlynn

That must be tough, never knowing which part of your body will be affected next. I can just picture you & your friend in the park. I have an artificial leg, & am not walking that well these days. My father has knee problems. When we went to my son\'s wedding in April, we walked arm in arm up the uneven stairs to the food section, & it was funny thinking about us holding each other up. Sometimes it helps to laugh. I\'m glad you had a good time at the fair. I admire your positive attitude. Thank you for your prayers, & for being my friend.

I have never had my eye go dry on me but I have have it tear up uncontrolably. TN is strange stuff. We never know what is going to happen. When I first started getting signs of TN the right side of my face would go numb it didn\'t bother me but then I didn\'t know what was just around the corner pain wise. I do not have kids but I can imagine how frustrating it must be not being able to do things with them due to the TN. We never know when or how it is going to hit us. I wish you the best jlynn. Hang in there.
