Been very busy this past week. I hope the weekend is not as busy as last weekend. I broke down and started pain medicine last night. My doc prescribed Robaxin. I took it at 6 p.m. and was in pain again by bedtime, so I will take it right before bed tonight. I'm still waiting to see my local neuro, but at least this time I knew to have the actual films of my MRI sent before I arrive. They should be there today, and I am on a wait list, so hopefully any day! I did find out he's going on vacation very soon, which was why my appointment was so far out to begin with. They are doing what they can to get me in before he goes. He's currently the only neuro in town. One is on maternity leave, and two retired just this past year. Small town... Well, I have a bunch of charts to get done before my son's doc appointment. I hope all of my friends here are doing well. ~JLynn

I\'m so glad you\'re finally on pain medication, & that it\'s working for you. Must feel like you\'ve been waiting forever for the neuro doc, but hopefully, you\'ll get in before his vacation. I know it\'s hard, when you just want some answers. I admire your hanging in there with your job, when I\'m sure there are times when your hands won\'t cooperate. Keep up the good work, my friend.

Is Robaxin a muscle relaxant? Do you take tylenol or darvocet?I take vicodin when it\'s really bad.Neurontin has helped ease my back & leg pains.I pray you will have a pain free night tonight.
i feels like it been forever waiting for your appt.i am sure it feels like that for you...glad you are getting some pain relief...wish it was more.but soon.you are always in my prayers...love marie
Robaxin is a muscle relaxant, yes. Vicodin makes me very nauseous. Tylenol has never done a thing for me. I got some good sleep last night, so it looks like Robaxin may be doing the job for now. ~Jlynn

Sounds like yoour \'apt\' situation had put you between a rock and a hard spot with so few neuros in town. Hope it goes well for you
