I managed to get my charts caught up yesterday. Lost a day's work due to the out-of-town trip (that was a total waste). Just as I finished the last chart note my lower arms started to go numb and it migrated down to my hands. Whew! Dodged that bullet! We will see how today goes. Not as much to do today, as he didn't see as many patients on Friday, thankfully. I'm feeling better about things. I was just very upset that I had pinned my hopes on this new neuro and he let me down in a big way. I know it happens a lot, but it's still a shock when it happens to you. I hope my friends on here are doing well today. Stay nice and cool! ~Jlynn

Thanks for the email/note. I haven\'t read your journal so I don\'t know all about you. I\'m wondering what your MS symptoms were to begin with. If it\'s in your journal I\'ll just read it there.
I\'ve seen only one neurologist. I had to travel over a snowy pass to see the guy. A three hour drive for what turned out to be no good reason. A R E there good neurologists ?

As far as good neurologists, I\'m hoping the one I finally decided to hold out for in August is a good one. His reputation is good, I do know that. My symptoms are sooooo random. Numbness, extreme fatigue, tinnitis, weakness in arms and legs, blurry left eye, intermittent double vision, occasional loss of hearing in right ear, and a myriad of others, but the MRI showed multple lesions that the radiologist said were \"consistent with MS.\" I haven\'t been officially diagnosed with MS, but so far the radiologist, rheumatologist, infectious disease specialist, and the quack neuro that I saw Friday all say \"possible MS.\" I guess I need a spinal tap for an actual diagnosis, or maybe just a neurologist who actually READS my list of symptoms, flare chart, blood tests, radiology report, etc. Ugh! I should also mention the pain, which could also be caused by the osteoarthritis that the rheumy found on my x-rays. ~JLynn
i hope you start to get answers.i know what a let down that damn doc was.i am sorry you had to go through that.but i am sure the next doc.will be better.you are in my prayers.you are loved...marie
Sorry your neuro let you down. I\'m often told ya have to have the right doctor...and I\'m thinking that is so true. Sounds like you are getting through your work day,...as best you can...and with some struggles, and unfortunately with the MS..there is always some struggles,...but I hafta tell you how very very VERY proud of you I am for working it yet...you go ...cuz it is very tough!!!
