Well, I made it through the appointment with the specialist yesterday.  She seems very thorough.  They did bloodwork, x-rays (of pretty much every bone in my body), etc.  She wants me to get an MRI of the brain (I have lost hearing in my right ear and left eye at random times) as soon as they can set it up and then follow up with her in two weeks.  I wish she was local.  I am certainly paying for it today.  At least I am finally making some headway.  I finally made it to a doctor who understands my condition and can help me.   I am not going to fill the Nexium prescription.  This is day four, and I took the pill the night before like the doctor said to, and I still vomited this morning.  I can't do this.  My son gets very scared when I do this.  I need to find a solution.  Any suggestions for the vomiting?  I work during the day, so I can't take anything that will make my drowsy (well, more drowsy than I already am...ha ha).

I am with you friend, I trully understand your situation. Your situation reminded me during time I was not diagnose my lupus yet. I always feel vomiting but then when I vomit nothing comes out and I feel the world is turning. I always blame in my eyes maybe something wrong of my eyes that I need to wear eye glass but found out it was lupus attacking me. I feel so horrible that time that I almost cancel my vacation for the last minute. I always drink chamomile tea at that time and whenever I go I always put mentos in my pocket to chew if I feel nausia and yes of course I always take dranamine bec. of my dizziness. You take care and always remember if you feel bad take a rest.....hugs lups
